We’re regularly updating Panorama, adding new features, improving performance and smoothing out the experience. If your license is active you’ll receive a notification within the WordPress dashboard and you can update the plugin simply by clicking “Update Plugin” on the WordPress Plugins page.
Updating Errors
If you get the error “Unauthorized” it means you tried to update Panorama from a domain that isn’t authorized under your account. This often happens if you develop your site in a staging environment and then change the domain when it goes live.
You can fix this by deactivating the license in Projects > Settings and then reactivating the license.
If this doesn’t work, you’ll need to manually add the new domain by logging into your ProjectPanorama.com account.
Manual Updating
If you’re unable to activate your license (you’re on an intranet for example) you can manually update Panorama or one of the add-ons by logging into your account and downloading the latest version and following the outlined steps:
- Login to your WordPress site
- Go to Plugins
- Find the plugin (Panorama or Panorama add-on) that you’d like to update and click “deactivate”
- Once deactivated, click the “delete” link. This will give you a warning about losing data, but Panorama doesn’t remove your data when it’s deleted.
- Once deleted, follow the installation steps you took to install the initial plugin.
